Alpha Beta Behavioral Psychological Services is a Counseling Practice that provides therapy and assessment services to individuals with behavioral and mental health concerns and needs. Our goal is to guide those whose lives are marked by intense emotional suffering toward a life worth living by using evidence-based treatments. We recognize that when life is full of pain, people’s attempts to cope can lead to even worse consequences. We attempt to provide guidance to our individual’s that promotes a life of high quality and happiness.




Our program offers comprehensive mental health services that are structured to assist with a variety of psychological disorders.

We provide the following Therapy services:

Our program is designed to increase language and communication, improve attention and focus, and decrease problem behaviors. We build on each person’s interest and strengths using structured and fluid opportunities to facilitate learning. ABA therapy is used in everyday life and broken down into easy to learn steps, with positive reinforcement and goal-focused treatment that meets the unique needs of each individual. At its core, ABA therapy helps an individual’s function more effectively in their natural environments.

Dr. Norman is the founder of Alpha Beta Behavioral Psychological Serivces Inc. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in California. He received his Psy.D in Clinical psychology from Capella University. He completed his pre & post-doctoral experience at Porterville Development Center (PDC) specializing in working with developmentally delayed (DD) individuals that are both criminally and civilly committed. Dr. Norman specializes in modalities such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
